I don't understand the reason for the setting of the final and the intention of the subject coordinator. The exam heavily emphasizes on the amount and speed of calculation, which is doubtful whether it can (give enough time) comprehensively reflect students' understanding of the knowledge itself.

Finals are somehow way harder than any exercises given by this particular lecturer, but the lecturer explains the topic quite well and the tutor Enoch Lee is amazing. Please devote your time on the personal project, as you can get big bonus points (multiple subgrades) if you have the best project.
