As this is a summer semester service-learning course, you have no way to skip any lecture while fulfilling the service hour requirement. But this course contains lots of workshops that helps you well prepared for the local service at the end of the semester. Not much you will have to do after class, just be punctual for every lecture and workshop. The reflection journal after the service is easy.
