Completely random quizzes in each seminar that determine 7% of your grade

12/5/2025

- Leung (2025/2026 Semester 1)

I have nothing more to say, these quizzes were just stupid. Each seminar we had a quiz of seven questions. But these weren't even properly worded so sometimes you didn't even understand what were they asking for. I think these grades that we got are like so random tbh.

BS course

1/8/2026

- (2025/2026 Semester 1)

A 10 minute open book quiz is given after every lecture, so total of 8-9 ten minute quizzes will contribute to 70% (!!!) of your grade whereas a case study at the end (4 pages long) contributes to 30% of your grade. Can someone explain to my how that makes sense? 90 minutes determine 70% while 7-8 hours or more which you spend on case study determines 30%. How does that make sense. In addition for the written answer for the quiz there's no rubric or anything which guides how you have to answer given question. It's open book as well so I don't really get the purpose of having those quizzes if not for attendance. At the end you have no idea how you got the grade as there's no feedback. It's compulsory so you don't have a choice but to take it
