However, Dr. Tak Wai CHAU is not as well versed in modern day economics and business if do find yourself wanting to discuss in depth beyond lecture content (25/26 2 sem) Students are expected to do their own reading or research, for understanding, due to the rushed nature of this course. (Not enough classes to cover lecture contents thoroughly) - We had to self study for the last two topics before the exam for this sem Do expect limited reading off slides to some extent - sometimes Dr. CHAU will make mishaps (? Not sure why) Course and exam is overly mathematical than it should be(subjective, coming from a comp student :> ). Expect mediocre Calculus and do learn the notations. I lost marks during the mid term paper for not including keywords of written answers despite explaining in detail, so do look out for those too Overall decent course for those interested in econ, not too difficult with limited effor.t Like all econ courses, content here is highly theoretical with very limited practical application in the real world
